what does the stamp on the 3 year FLR on your passport say?

what does the stamp on the 3 year FLR on your passport say?

Dear Forum members,
If any one has been granted an FLR for 3 years in recent months, what does the visa stamp say on the passport. I heard somewhere that the HO stamps as a Residence Permit.

I got my FLR (IED) last moth. Yes, they stamp it as a residence permit now.

The change in stickers is due to new EU policy to ensure that all immigration permits/visas for all EU countries look the same/alike to avoid confusion at PoE

That is, the UK is now issuing such visas in a common EU style, although of course the visa specifies and is restricted to the UK. Affixed visas are of course much more difficult to copy than a simple rubber stamp image.
