It can take 5 days or 2 weeks too.

best way is to call them and do esclation over phone.

In sha Allah a positive response is on its way for all.

Does anyone know if you need a tb test result back which you sent along with the other documents to show at the airport?

Are they sending those results back in the post with other paperwork?

@monadii unofficial email is when u escalate and in response you get a response and official is when they send you email without Escalation.

Brother if ur in lhr get a copy from IOM it's easily available if u didn't get our back within traveling time so not to worry abt it

Hi, Has anyone received their documents back from Sheffield office? How long does it take. I have seen on the forum some people even received documents before passport was collected.

Thanks Confusedd_786

No, I am in isb and I am sure it will be the same procedure to get a copy from iom. Let's see I am yet to get a call and email from the Gerry's on passport collection. I am just thinking hypothetically, in case the paperwork is delayed and visa is granted.

Unofficial is when they are simply replying to your email with information and official is when they contact you directly themselves to inform you of something, i.e. the passport being ready for collection.

Nothing yet, so far I think August applicants have only received information to say the application has been processed and a decision has been made but no call to collect passport yet.

I think it will take about two weeks because ftse100 received the email last week on Monday and still hasn't got an official email.

No tb test is needed
& IHS fee u only pay if they ask for it and most likely no if you originally applied before IHS was introduced

All my documents were all photo copied
one file was origanl and one file photo copies
They gave all the photo copies back to me and only kept the original paperwork
its best to do all photo copies and let them deciede
as you never know if you dont take copies with yiu they might
ask for them

@khani - Escalation is just a reference to sending an email after the 12 weeks asking for an update. Some people refer to it as an escalation. I emailed after 12 weeks and they emailed saying it's been processed (unofficial email) and it took 2 weeks after that for the offcial email to be sent for collection.

Thanks

@khani

You'll need your GWF reference and date of birth. You can use this link to email asking for an update.

Thanks
