In Country Dependent Application

Hello everyone,

A friend recommended this website and I must say it is an absolute delight to see how so many people are helping each other. I need some of your help too.

I am currently on Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa my initial time of 3 years time would run out in May 16. I am the main T1 holder and my husband is my dependent. It is a long story but I am unable to extend my T1 visa due to some factors. My husband is thinking to start studies in Jan 16 as Full Time PG Student. My questions are:

1. Do my husband has to go back to my home country before he can apply for his student visa or he can do an in country (UK) application?

2. If successful, my husband gets his student visa to start in Jan 2016, I am thinking of becoming my husband's dependent. Would this be possible? If yes, than can I apply for a dependent visa in country (UK) without going back to my home country?
