SOC code Network Engineer

Hello All,

When I got my Tier2 in 2013 I was under 2132 - Software Professionals under Job Title "Network Communications Analyst or Network Engineer"
This job function covers the design, planning and installation of networks including provision of hardware and software. Advises on overall security of corporate networks and associated operating and recovery procedures. In large installations would report to a senior network analyst. In smaller installations may form part of the overall system administration / support function.

My Job is still the same "Network Engineer" but this description and title has disappeared

2132 has been replaced by
2135 - IT business analysts, architects and systems designers
2136 - Programmers and software development professionals
2139 - Information technology and telecommunications
professionals not elsewhere classified

Even under 2139
IT consultant
Quality analyst (computing)
Software tester
Systems tester (computing)
Telecommunications planner

I'm due for my renewal in couple of months. Any ideas?

in 2135 :
iaises with internal/external clients in order to analyse business procedure, clarify clients‟
requirements and to define the scope of existing software, hardware and network provision;

researches, analyses, evaluates and monitors network infrastructure and performance; works
closely with clients to implement new systems

the titles mentioned are just for ref: need not be the same.
Also, when applying for CoS employer will specify your Job description anyway.

2139 is for 'Information technology and telecommunications professionals not elsewhere classified'
My guess is 2139 is the closest match considering your original SOC 2132 was also IT related.
