What is better for IRL – 3 months Disqualification OR 3 Points + 200 Fine ?

I received a summon to attend court on 25 Nov/15 for driving a car with two tyres thread below legal limit of 1.6mm. My motoring solicitor said it’s a minor offence court should give 3 points +200 fine OR she can persuade the judge to disqualify me for driving for few months so I don’t get any points on my licence.

My ILR is due in Nov 2017. What is better for ILR Disqualification OR 3 Points + 200 Fine ?

Take the points, disqualification is far more serious and will bump up your insurance premiums more.

Either way not gonna make any difference re: ILR....
