British passport application status

Hi all,

Just wondering if we apply online do we still get a postal letter for the interview or will they send an email?

We have made a joint application for me and my wife and since last week it was showing status as declaration form received and processing when checking the timeline for people who did postal application they got the interview letter and booked their interviews.

Please share your experiences and information.

Probably a postal letter.
