Tier2

Post by sxb271 » Mon Nov 16, 2015 10:12 am

Hi,

Currently I'm on Tire2 and the start date of my tier2(initial) is 15/02/2011. And I did two extensions for the same employer.

Initial visa: 15/02/2011 to 14/12/2013
First extension: 12/11/2013 to 14/10/2015
Second extension: 30/10/2015 to 28/10/2018

I know I can be in UK with Tier2 up to 6 years but they gave me nearly 8 years.

Because they granted me 3 years they charged me £600 for Health Surcharge.

I tired to find the way to contact Immigration but it seems not to be easy asking for reassessment.

1.Can I be in UK with Tier2 until 28/10/2018(just because they granted me until then) or should I be apply for permeant residency before it reaches 6years?

2. Is there anyway that lets immigration saying they gave me wrong end date and I want new end date which ends up 6 years and asking refund of health surcharge fee?

Thanks

Because your first tier 2 visa was before 2012, you come under older rules and hence are not capped for 3 years. You can not ask them to reduce your visa
