ILR application from tier 2

Hi all,

Recently I have been hearing alot of rumours of changes to tier 2 holders who want to apply for ILR in the future. I heard that it will not be allowed for tier 2 holders to apply for ILR by 2018 (i think)
Is that true??
If not can some one please update me about the changes going on as regard tier 2 because im really confused now!!

No such change for Tier 2 as far as I am aware, perhaps one of the other mods or members could confirm. There is a salary requirement change coming into effect in April 2016 though for Tier 2.

Tier 1 General to ILR route will cease.

Hi, do you mean new changes to Tier 2 Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) Codes and it's
minimum appropriate salary rates ? Thanks.
