Current employer willing to sponsor

Post by navisavi » Wed Nov 25, 2015 12:34 pm

I started working for an employer on Tier 2 dependent visa in October. They are willing to sponsor my Tier 2 visa. They don't have a Tier 2 license. They are willing to apply for Tier 2 license and then apply for my visa after following all rules and regulations. Since I am already working with this company can they sponsor me for Tier 2 visa. The technologies I am working on are very rare and its not easy finding guys with that skills.

Will have to do RLMT after obtaining licence, always difficult when someone already in the role applies for it, hard to prove transparency so I suspect UKVI will be all over this one. Search this sub-forum, there's been a few issues like this.

I'd advise staying in the role as T2 dependent.

i dont see any reason why it would be difficult.
company applies for licence
carries out rlmt.
add advertised for 28 days.
shows the proof that they tried to recruit someone and couldnt find 1
applies for a restricted cos.
assign you one.

What happens if plenty apply and some are very good and yet don't get the job because the OP has already been preselected?
