I could pass the current LitUK test easily, but then that is because I am an English (very shaky on Scottish) history buff, in spite of having no English ancestry.

Not only can I answer the questions below, I believe that one of them is phrased incorrectly.

The Queen acceded to the throne in 1952, but that is not quite the same as being "enthroned". Her Coronation, when she is actually "enthroned", was in 1953. If that were a question in my test, I would make an official complaint that the question did not match any of the answers.

But on a broader point, I think that the current LitUK test is an improvement on the previous one that I took, that involved questions on speed limits on B roads in Scotland (I don't drive nor do I live in Scotland) and the age when children in Wales have to take their Stage 2 tests (no children and I don't live in Wales either). At least the current questions give you a background in history and therefore culture in the UK.
