Hi everyone,

I was dreaming with the moment that I would come here and post that I finally got my visa and I am so happy to do this now.

Application sent: 20/June
Biometrics letter: 24/June (received on 26/June)
Biometrics taken: 04/07
COA with right to work: 14/07 (received on 17/July)
Residence card: all my documents together with the approval letter arrived today (26/11 - dated 24/11). The letter says that the RC will arrive in 10 days

A bit on my case: I've been with my british partner for 6 years, but married for 2 years. We applied under the Surinder Singh route after living and working in Ireland for 1 year.

I don't think so! I have never seen one here at least, people have august timelines though. There is a chance we will need to collect it

I've been in my previous address today.. to check if any there were any letters.. and I received a letter from DX 2 weeks ago.. they tried to deliver a package from UKBA - BRP on 13th Nov..
I've just called DX to book a redelivery for tomorrow.. the sad news is that they don't deliver the package on another address.. just if HO authorise them to.. as we know how HO is.. it's better to spend the whole day tomorrow at my old address waiting for the delivery guy. I'll keep you up to date about that.

Yes I did this.. so much that they sent the CoA to my new address.. even so they sent our documents to the old address..

Hi, I got a call from my HO regarding my RC application ....I was asked to withdraw my ee4(pr) appeal b4 a decision can be made on my RC application ....is this normal? However I still haven't receive hearing date after eight month of appeal.....ur input is required pls..

2) I believe we should revive June and May timelines, there are still so many people, who possibly feel abandoned since many of their peers have received RP already. I believe their timelines and stories as much important to draw a larger picture of what is happening in HO

Hello everyone!

Great news even for me and my wife this morning we have received all our documents back and the letter (dated 21st November) by the Home Office where they inform us that our RC is on its way from Bristol! we will receive it within 10 working days I had requested my passport back on 19th November and on 21st November they made the decision, I do not know whether it expedited or not, but it worked


We are so happy....I really wish all of those who are still waiting to receive it! I will update the forum as soon as we get our RC!

Thank you alex1128! Now we are dealing with the italian consulate and their visas.

Here is my case: I am Italian (EEA national) and my wife Georgian (non-EEA). We were in a long distance relationship from 2012 till 2014. Married 1 year ago and started to live together in January 2015, because I was in England and she was rejected her Tier 4 Visa and then EEA Family Permit. We applied as spouse of EEA national who is qualified person (working).

Anyway we received the biometric RC the day after all the documents arrived, so on 24 November (dated 21 November). For any further questions, I woul be more than pleased to answer.

Today they have delivered the RC, but I was not at the home. The delivery guy told my sis-in-law that he could only give it to her if she could show proof of residence in my name. She had it, so he gave her the RC.

So if you are expecting your RC and need to leave the house, please leave proof of address in your name with the person who will be waiting for courier.

Sure, I applied under the Surinder Singh route after living and working in Ireland for 1 year.
My husband is british, but we couldnt apply under spouse visa due to the immense bureaucracy and requirements. We are together for 6 years and married for 2.5 years. We applied for a family permit in Ireland before heading to UK and then applied for residence card on arrival.
