I know it can vary but does anyone know the current average turnaround time the BHC in Islamabad is taking for settlemnet applications?

The last I did was a few months ago and it was about 10 days, but I think they are introducing biometrics so they are now taking longer. Best to look on the website for info.

my brother in law was told today to check the status of his settlement case after 15 days.application was submitted at the following office:
ISLAMABAD
Plot# 14- Sadiq Plaza
G-9 Markaz

Does anyone know how to check the status of application online? www.visadropbox.com only take computer number in the form 1234567 but the reference given by the above office is of this format: AAA-PK-01-006994-X

Is that 15 working days or simply 15 straight days?
