Could mum and child apply separately for FLM depend visa?

Post by mythbust » Sun Nov 29, 2015 11:32 am

My baby's passport is expiring, and need to renew it first. Could I as Mon and spouse send my application first, and then apply for the child's one after the passport's renewed?

Or it is definitely required that a child must extend the visa with the mother?

Will the child receive his/her new passport before the child's current leave expires?

Yes, the child will get the passport in time.

Just want to have Mom's visa done first. It's safer if possible.

My child's passport expired - FLR(M)

We are applying for visa extension. Could I apply for visa extension using the expired passport? Can I renew the passport of my child after the visa is granted?

Child needs a valid passport to apply for a visa.

Are you no longer separated from your husband??

Child's passport is valid now but will expire in one month. Could I anyway send the passport in?

If I apply for my visa first, could my child apply for the visa later? What form for the child's application?

Thanks for reply!
