Hello Guys,

Wanted to share my happiness. July applicant. Was following this timeline from past few weeks.

2nd time EEA2 Applied :03/07/2015
Biometrics:13/07/2015
COA: never received (though received in first application)
BRC received: 30/11/2015

This was my second application. Previous application which was refused for less proof and confusion between employed & self employed. So rather than appeal I submitted new application, this time with Solicitor. Already had family permit.Non EEA national married to EEA national. Applied as self employed (limited company), submitted a hell lot of documents this time, well at the end it paid off.

Hello,

I applied for EEA2 as a family member of an EEA national (marriage route) on the 20th of November with a solicitor because I overstayed after my second Tier 4 visa.

As we applied with a solicitor, there's no way for us to know if our application has been received. The money has probably been taken from the solicitor's account. I called him because it's been more than 10 days and I was wondering when I'm going to receive the letter for the biometrics. I don't really want to call him again because he's been a bit snappy saying that I was a bit too impatient but I'm just a bit worried if it's been delivered or not.

Are we gonna receive a letter or an email to confirm that they received the application ?

About biometrics, I had an interview at the HO on the 17th of september to prove my relationship with my gf before the marriage. After that, they took my fingerprints and pictures.

Am I gonna have to do the biometrics again for this application? I already did my biometrics in 2013 for my second tier 4.

Has anyone applied with a solicitor and could help me with these inquiries ???

Guys, i sincerely apologise for overposting, but i need to tell about our bold move this morning. So I found out that my application was sent on 29th not on the 28th, oh well

Anyway, we requested our passports back and booked tickets to my home country and planning to apply for visa for my spouse. All of that despite the fact that we are still not certain about our application. I understand how crazy it sounds, but I could not help planning and taking some risks to see my family on new years eve. If you request your passports back be careful not TO WITHDRAW YOUR APPLICATIONS, it is a little button on a first page, dont ignore it!!!Be careful, I wish all of us soon reception of BRC, God Bless you all

It seems like the JUNE Applicants were forgotten

Bt the way, I cant remember when does the 6 months countdown starts ? Is it from the date when the application was sent or from the date of COA ?

Thanks everyone for help, I just received a call from my solicitor that I have got my Resident card. This my 2nd RC as my EEA4 (after 5 years) was refused in May 2015 and I am going to my appeal hearing in jan 2016. Wish me good luck that i can win and to be relax as Me and my wife working day and night to be in the rules from the last 6 years.

Arrrg signed for delivery today I was not expecting anything I wonder if this is a good sign because it means a returning the documents did anybody get a rejection letter they have to sign for

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. Today I just received my COA, but it shows that my application lack of my husband exercise treaty right. Then I figured out I forgot to send his pay slips. Can I send to the home office of the pay slips? Is there a chance for me to still get the residence card? Oh, i am so scared. Thank you so much!

I was a bit confused yesterday late afternoon when ny neighbor placed a brown envelope on my door step since mail already passed(missed delivery), it was my BRC! Didn't expect it because a lot were saying it will arrive after 10 working days. So I still didn't get my signed for package, probably contained my documents. Just wondering if my husband's residence certificate is in that envelope.

Hey there, I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I did send them though, called Home Office and they told me to send it to my case officer. They received it (post tracking) but neverr ackwoledged them, so we are still hanging in the air. It is our five months this month i will let you know how it is going.

Hello sweet snowhite , just I have to ask you how you know that you will get the RC next week , I mean do you have updat for home office from your call or what because am still waiting the answer from them from 7 month and am afraid to call them to affect my case what do you think ?

Hi everyone,

Good news here from me and my partner.
We had missed a signed for royal mail delivery yesterday. We picked up the package today, and it was our documents along with a letter confirming we will receive the residence card within 10 working days.

We have applied as unmarried partners, been in a relationship for 3 years and living together for exactly two years by the time we sent the application. I am the EEA national, and my partner is the non-EEA.

Here is our updated timeline:

Application sent:10/07
Received by HO: 13/07
Biometrics letter received&enrolled: 23/07
Requested passports & non-eea's BRP back: 24/07
Passports & BRP received: 30/07
COA: 10/08 - dated 06/08
Residence card confirmation letter & documents received: 02/12

I will write here again as soon as we receive the residence card!
