Tier 2 ICT Visa to Tier 2 General Dependent

I currently live in UK on Tier 2 ICT Visa and it expires mid of next year. My Wife has got a sponsorship and she is traveling to UK next week on Tier 2 General.
I want to get converted to Tier 2 General Dependent. Can anyone please let me know the process to do it In-Country.

in this case, if Alwin changes his visa category (from T2ICT to T2G Dep)
After spending 12 months on T2G Dep can his employer then sponsor his T2G visa ? considering he is already employed by them , is it possible to do RLMT and get restricted CoS for his position ?
and if they do sponsor his visa, he goes back to his home country and apply and come back. will he be regarded as a new hire or can continue his employment?

Will wait for the experts to reply about the cooling period.

However, once the employer has provided a Restricted -COS, the individual has to go to home country and apply for entry clearance.
The person can continue as an employee during the entry clearance processing time and need not be a new hire.
This is totally upto employer to decide and manage.
However, RLMT and other conditions have to be met.

My Wife is main applicant and she holds a Tier 2 General VISA. We both (Parents) are in UK. My Child is outside UK who is 4 years old. We want to apply a VISA for my child.

It has just been a month for my Wife in UK.


Can someone please help me with the documents required? Do my Wife need to travel back to get my Child.

The cooling off period does not have to be served outside the UK if you are on a Tier 2 Dependent visa now. The cooling off period means no Tier 2 G main
applicant visa.

Once you have reached 12 months as dependent, you can apply for Tier 2 G again but it will still an application from home country.

Same process and procedure that you went through to get your Tier 2 G. How will the child travel if the parent does not go to fetch child from home country?

Yeah, My Wife is planning to travel and Produce her original documents and will get my Child if VISA is granted.

So here are the documents we are planning to give
1. Wife's Passport
2. Childs passport
3. Childs Birth Certificate
4. Marriage Certificate
5. Manitainence letter from Employer for initial stay for dependent
6. A bank statement for address proof - The statement will not be a month old because the account will be opened on Monday


Is anything missing?
