Refreees & Identity

Post by wpongal » Mon Nov 30, 2015 8:48 pm

Dear Friends,

I have a query on the referees / identity ( section 5) please.

Both my referees have been my school friends from my native , who also happened to work with me and came an year ahead of myself.

They both are Engineers who are working in software industry and have been naturalised.

Would that be acceptable?

Thanks

If they have known you for 3 years (or more), & at least one is a recognised professional, (for example a member of BCS) & at least one has a British passport, then they should be acceptable.

In addition, they cannot be your relatives, nor be your representative nor work for Home Office;
also they should not have any unexpired/unspent criminal convictions.

Form AN and naturalisation queries

Post by wpongal » Sat Dec 05, 2015 2:58 pm

dear friends,

this is regarding the form AN for naturalisation.

I have these clarifications, please...

A) 1.49 Address of tax office or tax office reference

(q1) What should be the address or reference to be filled in?.
I am employed with a Company who give me my Payslip every month.

B) Good Character
I have got 3 points on my license along with £100 fixed penalty notice for signal jump in 2014.
(q2) Should I answer 3.1 as Yes or No?

I have not gotten any form of notification from any court/police apart from 1 FPN
(q3) Should I answer 3.6 as Yes or No? ..because of my FPN?

C) Referees and Identity
My friend filled the section for Referee 2 and has filled the form in Small Letters.
(q4) Would I need them in BLOCK LETTERS?

apologies for too many question as I am just 2 days away from application

Many thanks

Your employer HR department can give you the information. It is also printed on your P60.

Not sure

Should be fine as it is.

Thank you!.

3.1 is a very tricky question in my case then.

has anyone had experience of going through this case in the past?

Friends,

Apologies for the repeated question ..

(q1) would Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) for traffic offence count as
a) Civil Penalty or
b) Caution / Warning / Reprimand?

Many thanks

The guidance notes suggest you should enter your FPN in Q3.1-3.2.

However, if you are unsure you could add it on the extra information page, or if you attend a NCS appointment, leave it blank and ask them to see what they think as to where you should declare it.
