Tier 2 visa extension require documents...please help

Hi all respected members,
I am in tier 2 general visa, and will expire on April 2016. I have to apply for extension for myself and my wife.
I was going through all of your advices. There are 2 things I am confused about maintenance fund and pay slip ?
Respected advisors I works, Prince 99 and rambo_Ilr mentioned that don't need show any maintenance fund for myself and dependent. Don't take me I am not arguing, just want to confirm before apply. Home office website tier 2 guidance asking for for maintenance fund of £945 and £630. "Is that for new application or for extension as well". Please confirm.
Also do I need to submit pay slip? Is this mandatory? If it is how Many months?
Last one, my current salary (initial visa allowing amount salary)
Can be applicable to get extension of visa unless changes on new SOCIAL CODE.

Hi

In my experience, i dint show any bank statements as my employer gave a letter. However if your employer does not give you a letter, you can show a bank statement i am not sure if its for continuous 6 months or 3 months but your maintenance fund should not go below £945 for the continuous period.

Yes 6 months pay slip is good.

however not sure if you are applying before 6th April, as new changes in place in regards to salary.

Point 168 - you can go by first point as below and dnt need to submit any document as I did. Or for added advantage have your employer check maintenance support as yes

 you currently have entry clearance, leave to enter, or leave to remain as a Tier 2 skilled
worker; work permit holder; Jewish Agency Employee; Member of the Operational
Ground Staff of an Overseas-owned Airline; Minister of Religion; Missionary; Member of
a Religious Order; or Representative of an Overseas Newspaper, News Agency or
Broadcasting Organisation; or

 your A-rated (Premium), A-rated Small or Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) or A-rated
sponsor certifies on the Certificate of Sponsorship that they will maintain and
accommodate you up to the end of your first month of employment in the UK if required.
Your sponsor may limit the amount of the undertaking, but any limit must be at least
£945; or

Hi Rockcbe,
Thanks for your information. Still I m confused, according to the guidance point 168, if I am in tier 2 visa currently incase of extension I will be awarded 10 points, my question is still do I need to submit 3 month bank statement of £945? Please note when I was applying for tier 2 3 years back, I have submitted 90days bank statement, company didn't provide any maintenence letter. Please confirm me. Also any maintenence fund required for my dependent ?

As you are already in UK with Tier 2, you are awarded with 10 points and no need to submit any supporting document for this.

last thing is as my wife is going to apply visa extention as Tier 2 Dependent, does she need to show any maintanence funds?
please let me know. i read through the dependent guidlines couldnt figure it out. please help me.

Hi reflection_ewu.. I have the same questions, did you provide maintenance funds etc for the extension of your wife's visa?
