New surname in passport

Hi I'm an Indian passport holder and until now I've my maiden name in all documents including brp. I was married 11 yrs before and had added spouse name in observations of Indian passport after marriage but never changed surname.
Now today after my passport expiry I've requested surname change. Do I have to use TOC immediately after getting my surname in my new passport and notify uk visas to get new brp?
Pls shed some light gurus.
