Salaam, what do you mean by getting the MP to reverse the decision? I asked my MP about this when I emailed him about my appeal a month ago and this is the response I got:

Dear ----

Thank you for your emails, dated 7th November 2015, concerning your husband’s application for an entry visa which has been refused.

I am unable to give legal advice, so if you need this, I suggest that you contact your legal representatives. I can, however, contact the Appeals Tribunal about the date of the hearing, so if you have not received notice of the Appeal Hearing date by the beginning of March 2016, please contact me and I will chase it for you.

I hope you will find this helpful, and if you think I can be of assistance in any other matter, please don’t hesitate to contact me again.

If you dont mind me asking what is the reason your visa was refused??

The reason for my refusal was so stupid, it was an error on their part.

I submitted my documents where it states through my employment letter and my payslips that I am and have been working with 1 employer since 2013 with my starting salary being £19,000 p.a. which has now increased to £22,000 p.a.

However on the reason for refusal it states that I work for 3 different companies earning less than £18,600. It names 1 company as Antonio's Pizza. I have never even heard of this pizza company!

My solicitor said they mixed up my paperwork with someone else's, that is the only reasonable explanation we could think of.

Anyways because of their mistake I ended up paying another £900 as legal fees to the solicitor and the other fees regarding the appeal.

This whole process is so annoying, and the only thing we can do is make dua, In Sha Allah we will all be reunited with spouse very soon!

Very frustrating situations. But i guess there must be khayr in this for us??

I want to know what is going on with my appeal and whether I'm going to be getting any sort of response before end of this year. Already this has taken a Hugh toll on my marriage and this isn't easy for any of us. I've hired a lawyer again to deal with my appeal and I've not had any updates from them. What can I do any email or telephone number I can be given so I can find out my self to give me some peace of mind
