Hi there,

I am on a dependants visa. My husband is on a work permit. The company I am working for have invited me to the headoffice based in Spain. I want to go but worried that on returning I wil be asked lots of questions at the airport. I have had probs with immigration in the past. But I have travelled twice since, but once with my husband and once when I entered the country after getting the spouse visa. I am worried that immigration wil wonder why I am working and visiting the mother company in spain if I am here to stay with my husband. Is it safe for me to travel to spain and return. Legally I know am allowed to work, but given my past probs I do not want to cause any more.

You should have no problems. You may wish to carry with you evidence that your husband is in the UK, such as a copy of his visa and his employment letter and work permit.
