Your case is simple just u can apply in end of May 2016.
Don't go for solicitor .it is always considered date of issue on ur letters .you can get free advice or support from citizenship support office in all cities almost.

You can apply in end of May 2016. Both of them .
Nothing to do with eu marriage with citizenship application.
If your character is good all ll be fine .Don't go for solicitor.
