Is Visa Extension Mandatroy for Child Born in UK

Hi Gurus/Moderators/Experts,

Will highly appreciate your response on the below questions.

Q1: I applied for Tier 2 child dependent visa for my son as he needed to travel. I will be extending my Tier 2 visa in next year September. Is it necessary to extend my son's visa as well if we do not have any travel plans after extension?

Q2: If I do not include him in my extension, and later on decides to travel and apply for his visa, will he be given visa or will he be treated as overstayer?

Q3: I paid IHS for him in his visa application, if I do not include him in visa application will he be covered with IHS?

Q4: Any further information on this I should know?

I will appreciate your response and apologise if this has been discussed previously. I am just looking to save some visa and IHS cost (if I can) on my extension next year.

1. If you are granted ILR, then child (age under 10) would be entitled to register as a British citizen.
2. Overstayer.
3. They may charge overstayers for health services.
4. 319H(m) may be unsatisfiable if child overstays for over 28 days and 320(7B) may be applicable if child overstays for more than 90 days. But child might be able to rely on 280(b), 304-309 for a leave to remain application.
