According to you other post (click), you have a Tier 4 visa. Why can't you extend your current visa?

Thought you were seeking a Tier 2 G sponsor?

HO has become very wise to people flicking between the Tier/PBS visas and FLR(O) to 'buy time or bridge a gap' to reach ILR 10 LR.

On what basis do you think you qualify for FLR(O)?

Why is your Tier 4 sponsor not sponsoring you for an extension for the retake?
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.

You only need a CAS for a Tier 4 application. If you are making an application outside the rules on FLR(O), a CAS is irrelevant. However, I would strongly advise getting one-to-one immigration advice about such an application.

Speak to your student advisers. If they won't grant the CAS, it will be an institution policy. What institution is it? It's worth just speaking to your advisers as my colleagues have said. They'll be better placed than people on here to offer tailor made advice.

Suggest you contact your international student support office (at university) for advice & support.

To make sure application arrives in time, you could consider sending the bundle by courier (although it will be costly!) or else delivering it yourself.

I didn't answer as i don't know the answer but if you deliver it yourself (or courier the bundle) you will avoid any problems & risk of overstay.

And if you risk a late delivery by using the mail system you will need your university officials on your side.

If you send an application via royal mail special delivery(next day) the day of application posting is date of application BUT in case of courier the date of application receipt at UKVI is date of application....

This page tells you how to assess the date an application is made on a specified application
form.
The date of application or variation is either the date:
 of posting
for postal applications sent by Royal Mail, you must accept the postmark as
evidence of the date of posting

 a premium service centre appointment is booked and paid, if it is made in person
 it is delivered to the Home Office if it is sent by courier or other postal services provider
 it is submitted through the online application process

As stated though, I'd advise you to speak to your University Advisers about your FLR(O) application. Which University is it? I can try to look on their site for you.
