Salaam guys. I have just recieved through the post documents from Sheffield - I have checked the email of my wife, but she has not recieved anything, neither has she recieved any further calls.

I dont want to get too happy yet, but is this a good sign, we have recieved documents, I checked my bank account, and no refund has been given for IHS.

Your advice and experience will be most helpful

Hey QudratullahKader, just to let you know i receieved a delay email but then 2 days later i emailed again and this time it was "In Progress".

Not certain but i think the emails are just generic, i sent a request for one of them at 2AM and recieved a response at 4AM from someone called Andrew, i think it's automated to be honest, don't look too much into the emails and hopefully we'll get our case's accepted at the same time :)

@QudratullahKader

I did email them.. These some of the replies i got.

Emailed 9th November they replied: 'application has been processed and a decision has been made and it should be with you in the next few days'

Contacted & escalated case 24 November reply was: 'We will investigate why applicant hasn't been contacted yet and we will contact the VAC directly'

Escalated case again on 1 December response: 'Your application is under processing. However, we are now prioritising the completion of the application. Your patience in this regard is highly appreciated, until this matter is resolved'

So all in all the updates they give over email are just inconsistent.. u can't rely on the information they give you. As you can see from the replies I have got from them they just leave you confused. In November they said my case has been processed and this month they are saying it is still under processing, makes no sense at all.

Salaam

I receive online payslips from my employer, so I printed 6 months and submitted them with my application, but I recently read these must be signed by employer as verification, is this true, I am a little concerned now.

*** I must add I have also sent a letter from my employer confirming my salary, hours and I have been working for them for 5 years. Also my bank statement are a perfect match to my payslips.

Do you think it is something to be concerned about?

Online Application: 30/12/2015
Biometrics: 02/12/2015
Sent to Sheffield: 14/12/2015 (special delivery was received on 15/12/2015)
Email Received: not yet

I contacted UKVI through the email form.

I recieved a reply stating, a Decision has been made. When I went home from work, my documents were posted back to me, however my wife has not recieved a call or text message from Mirpur Gerry's office.

Is this normal?

W/Salaam,

I am not sure how true it is that you must have them signed by your employer... But when I submitted my slips there were not signed they were just the original pay slips I received from my employer.

Yes I have checked my bank - no refund issued, so i think that is a good sign, but its fact that I got my documents sent home yesterday, but my wife hasnt been called. We paid also for the Premium Lounge, so it states she will get a text message etc. So I am hopeful.

Ive noticed we did our applications more or less the same time :)

Hi guys !

I am little concerned and worrying as at the time of my online visa application I provided my wife's email address wrong (who's my sponsor) by mistake, now my question is
1) if my visa application are being processed will they email my wife (who's my sponsor) or me to my email address and
2) if the ukvi or bhc ever wanted any additional information or documents will they contact my wife email address (who's my sponsor) or me the applicant

Kind answer is much appreciated :)

Hello everyone.....Its 20 weeks and still no official email from UKVI! We know that my wifes visa was processed and completed on the 10 December 2015, but todate we have still not received the official email.... Its so distressing and very stressful.... Not sure what else we can do.... My wife rang them on the 11 December 2015 and they told her that it was processed on the 10 December 2015... So the wait goes on!!!!
