EEA Family Residence card

Post by uk868 » Tue Nov 27, 2007 1:58 pm

I am a non-EEA family member. I have been granted as EEA family residence card for 5 years. However, while I applied EEA2, I needed my passport urgently. Home Office sent my passport back. Afterwards, Home Office issued a paper with visa endorsement, called Immegration Status Documents seperately.

Question:
1) Family Member card is not on my passport, is it compulsary to send it back, to ask Home Office put it on my passport?
2) My currant passport has no blank page. Can I apply a new passport, and then send two passports back to Home Office with family member document together? As European Law doesn't accept tranfer condition. Will Home Office ask me to do a fresh application, as my passport renewed?

It sounds bit complicated. I couldn't find any answer by viewing Home Office website. Please help.

Just carry the endorsement around with your passport, no problem.

When you get a new passport, carry the endorsement and both passports, or make a new application to get the endorsement on the new passport.
