Change of name

Post by megs112 » Thu Dec 17, 2015 7:23 pm

I hope that someone can help shed some light on this subject,

In August I applied for and received my ILR under my maiden name as my passport is still in that name and I wasn't able to change it to my married name prior to the application. I would prefer that all my ID be in my married name and am hoping to change my passport to my married name, and thusly would like to switch my residence permit to my married name when that gets done. Is this ok to be done, even though I was married 2 years ago?

thanks so much!

Passport - Check with the embassy of your country of citizenship.
BRP - Report a change of circumstances if you have a visa or BRP
