Post by davisco12345 » Thu Dec 17, 2015 12:53 pm

Hi all apologies if this particular topic has already been raise as I have gone through the forum but could not fine a specific answer., please I need some help in filling my son's application. below are some details about me.

I came into the UK through family reunion in Dec 2010 and on the 04 - 06 - 2013, I got my ILR which expires in 2023. On the 21 - 06 - 2013, my child was born.

In march 2015, my wife (the mother of my baby) joined me in the UK.

y question is, what visa type will I use to apply and how much IHS will I need to pay. Please your responses will be greatly appreciated.

This one Apply to Join Family in the UK (Click)

Child will be granted a visa in line with the mothers visa. IHS is payable and is £600.

Have never applied for one of these under the post July 2012 rules, so imagine it would be the same documents you needed for your spouse applying.

Childs passport
Birth certificate (maybe your marriage certificate too)
Proof of accommodation
6 months payslips
6 months bank statements

I you meet the requirements, then that is all that needs to be submitted.

Online statements MUST be stamped by the bank branch, you cannot just print them and submit them.

Thanks so much for the help you have been giving me. i did go to the bank and they printed my bank statements but refused to stamp it as they said they don't stamp statements. but on the statements it is stated ''printed at the branch''.

I already booked an appointment for the 12 of Jan. Hope it all goes well.
