It seemed to speed things up a lot...MP can go direct to the source, where we just get no information from the home office phone number.

I am on ILR on long residency and i have applied for my wife as spouse visa (FLR M). Previously she was on my Tier 1 dependent and her visa expiry is March 2016. I have applied on Premium services and provide them the all documents.
My Wife is on payroll of my company which is running properly and two years old company. every thing went well but they ask for further documents regarding my company:
Last 12 Month company bank st.
Last year company set of accounts
Last 12 months My personal Bank st.
all service contracts between my company and clients.

Is this the normal practice or this is new in this FLRM Catagory.

Kindly advice me on this as they gave us two weeks to respond.

Many Thanks
Hi
Which PEO you've been to?
I have to apply for my wife's too, I am also same as you ILR on long residency and limited company director.

Regards

Svatuk

Hi everyone,

Currently I'm applying for second FLRM (renewel). I have submitted my application on Nov 26th and it's arrive on 27th. But until now I haven't heard anything from home office. No acknowledgment letter, No biometric invitation.
I understand December is a busy month for everyone, so they might have short staff. But still it makes me worried. is there any people out there who has similar experience like me?

Hi guys

Thanks for your response. Today I received my biometric letter at last.
On Last Wednesday they sent me an email. Apparently they sent the letter to wrong address. So I tried to b in touch with them to ensure the letter sent to the right address.

Sanzlovz have you contacted home office yet? In their website they said that if it takes more than 8 weeks they will inform you, did you get email from them?

Hi all, been a while since I looked at this site - was really useful first time around. We have just applied for my wife's flr(m) and was wondering how long it would take. I see that it should be 8 weeks but wondered what the truth was?

Our details are as follows:
06.01.16 - sent application
07.01.16 - application received (special delivery)
08.01.16 - payment of £649 taken from account
13.01.16 - received confirmation letter and biometric enrolment letter (dated 11.01.16)
14.01.16 - registered biometrics

As per the first time I am scanning through all posts to double / triple check we have done everything we should have done and I don't think there is any reason to reject the application but it is impossible to not question everything.

Best of luck to everyone else applying!

Hello all,

Wanted to share my happy news and share the timeline:

Applied for an extension of my FLR(M) visa.

Original visa was expiring 20.11.15
Posted the application and document pack on 17.11.15
Received by HO 18.11.15
Payment taken 22.11.15
Confirmation letter received 27.11.15
Biometrics letter received 29.11.15
Biometrics completed 05.12.15 (didn't complete sooner due to an illness - very frustrating, as wanted to get this all done asap!)
Visa approval letter and document pack returned 08.01.16 (had to collect from PO - only collected 16.01.16)
Biometric card - waiting...

All in all, turnaround time of less than 2 months, I am very pleased.

What I sent away:
2 x passport photographs of my husband
2 x passport photography of me
6 months payslips for me (initialed by HR - online payslips, as that's how my company operates)
6 months payslips for my husband (initialed by HR) - online, same as above
6 months bank statements for the joint savings account
6 months bank statements for the joint current account
6 months worth of entries of my wages going into my personal account (this didn't include all the movement on the account, but just the wages going in)
6 months worth of entries of husband's wages going into his personal account (as above)
1 letter from my work confirming employment - length, terms, salary
1 letter from my husband's work confirming employment - length, terms, salary
1 marriage certificate
6 pieces of evidence of us living together (various correspondence addressed to both) - this was a little bit awkward, as we moved to a new home about mid-way through the 2 year period and had a bit of paperwork clear out, so I struggled a little, but included anything and everything on both our names as well as addressed to us individually. I really need to be mindful of this for next time I need to apply for anything. I also sent away paperwork for us jointly owning the house, thinking that surely should prove that we're in a genuine relationship and cohabiting :)
All the passports I've held since coming to UK (3 including current)
My husband's current passport
My University Degree certificate (Masters from UKVI approved list)
Copy of mortgage statements/confirmation of purchase from solicitor

Bonus Content: Photos of us together from the period since my last application - only sent photos of us on holidays and with family at Christmas etc.

Wishing all the best to everyone waiting, it's so rubbish, even when you know your relationship is genuine and you meet all the criteria, you just never know what they might query or what may cause a delay!

Off to book some holidays now!
