Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Notice period

Post by notnew » Wed Dec 23, 2015 1:05 pm

Hi,

I had applied for switching from ICT to General. I had got approval letter and BRP card for same.

My COS start date is March 1st 2016.And had submitted same in my application.

They have retained my ICT BRP card.
So now I am confused whether my Tier 2 general starts from MArch 1 st or now itself.
Till when my ICT visa will be valid to serve notice period.

There is no start date mentioned on BRP Card.

Only Place and date of issue as UK and 21-12-2015, the day I got decision mail.

I had applied for 2 year visa with cos start date 1st march 2016 and had paid IHS for 2 years period only.
The BRP card is valid until 14-03-2018.

Also note that my ICT BRP card was valid until 27-Oct-2016.
Is that could be the reason they retained it?As my Tier 2 General work start date is from 1st March 2016.

Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general switch--Dependant query

Post by notnew » Fri Jan 08, 2016 11:33 pm

Hi,

Hi,

I have switched from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general leave for 2 years with Cos as below:

Start date: 01 March 2016
End date: 28 February 2018

My Visa details as below:
Date of issue : 21 DEC 2015
Expiry date : 14 March 2018

My wife currently has PBS dependant leave to remain valid until
27-10-2016 ,issued along with my previous ICT extension.

My query is since I have switched my visa from ICT to General ,is her dependant visa still valid or should I reapply for her also. Please advise.

Hi,

My current employer is asking me to send scanned copies of new BRP and new COS issued by my future employer to determine if I am allowed to work to serve notice period.

I have given them notice till 29th Feb as my Tier 2 General COS start date is 1st March 2016.
I just wanted to check is it safe to send scanned copies or should I just show them hard copies.

Please advice.
