WE need have sabr, but yes it is frustrating, I had to go through the stress of Royal Mail "losing" my delivery, they didnt track it, and we waited and waited to find out if it had reached Sheffield, and only last week I found out when documents came back. Ive claimed compensation from Royal Mail now for stress etc.

No I have not, had official email, just had emails from UKVI filling that form and they told me it was decided on the 10th of December
Omg bro how can they make a decision without checking your documents at least they should ask first about documents ,it's strange ,don't worry bro Allah make it easy for you
No bro, They have checked my documents now, the problem was, Royal Mails service, as far as Royal Mail were concerned they had lost the tracking of my documents, but in reality it had reached sheffield in September, but we did not know this. Hope that makes sense. Sheffield check our documents alhumdullilah, I am just waiting for the call or email for my wife now. they are taking ages.

I applied for a fiancé visa last week online but they did ask for the health charges? Becoz if we didn't pay application was not going forward? Is this normal. And there was no option of fiancé in online application only the unmarried partner? Any body in the same situation?

Thank you. The number was 05827438005. I hope this helps. Please make sure your wife has credit on her mobile as it appears the credit gets deducted from the mobile as soon as they call you. Thats what my wife told me. I am so glad the pain and agony is now over. Her travel dates are from 10/01/2016 - 09/01/2016.

I don't think you need it as they never check it, but you can get it done again just in case? My wife's expired in November, just after applying for Visa, and they didn't let us re-do until the old one expires so we had to submit with the old certificate.

Hi,

Can anyone help!

How long does it take for the supporting documents to be sent back once a decision has been made?

Also does the applicant get contacted via phone or email with regards to collecting passport? Any idea how long it takes for the Lahore centre to contact the applicant to come collect their passport?

Many thanks

Ayesha :)

Alhamdulilah my wife and I arrived suceffuly here in UK yesterday, we missed our Birmingham flight so had to come to Manchester, I made sure to fill in the immigration card form they give you towards the end of the flight as its very important, when we landed at the airport the non-eu line was really long and even though I had a British passport I waited in the same line as my wife, a lot of Pakistanis did not know English so other passengers help translate, I did bother getting a new TB certificate as they don't ask for one as far as I know and they just asked my wife to lift her burka veil to see her face and then how long have we been married, I said three years and then they asked why it took so long for visa. I said I could get a job to earn enough and that was it, my wife placed her thumb on the scanner and they stamped her passport and that was it.

Don't forget you need to fill out the immigration card form they give you towards the end of your flight otherwise they will say sit down fill it in then come back. My final timeline is below and any questions just message me and Inshallah all of your visas will be successful too.

Please note my appeal was successful due to the intervention of my MP contacted the home office twice after a standard three week reply from home office as they tried to brush us off the first time.

Applied : 13/05/15
Refused : 6/8/15
Appeal Submitted : 18/08/15
MP Letter Sent: 20/10/15

Call In Letter Submitted: 9/11/15
Call to Collect: 3/12/15
Visa granted: 4/12/15
Arrived in UK: 22/12/15

I tried to be as detailed as possible and I do dua that Allah makes your duas kabul and gives your sabr as everything happens for a reason
