Tier 1 (General) to ILR

Post by gauravh12 » Sun Dec 27, 2015 11:21 am

I need to apply for ILR by Feb '16. I complete 5 years (Tier 1 G) in Mar '16.

I worked as employed and self-employed for year 2010-2011 and filed the tax return but there is a difference of about 300 GBP in the net profit declared to UKBA and HMRC. I am getting it amended currently.

I did not work as self employed in year 2011-2012. I was working full time only (employed).

I was employed + self-employed in 2012-2013 (Tier 1 G Extension) and declared the same amount to both UKBA and HMRC and tax was paid.

I was employed + self-employed in 2013-2014 but earned very less amount as compared to year 2012-2013.

I did not earn any money as self-employed in year 2014-2015. I was working full time only (employed).

For year 2015-2016, I achieve required points for ILR with my qualification, age and earnings.

Do I need to be earning same amount as in 2010-2011 (Tier 1 G- First application) and 2012-2013 (Tier 1 G- Extension) in remaining 3 years i.e. 2011-2012, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 to be eligible for ILR?

Please reply soon.

Thanks indeed Blocked Username for quick reply! That is a big relief.

Will I be able to get the tax return for year 2010-2011 amended by end of Feb '16 and SA302 updated in 2 months?

If not, would it be a better option to apply by post? As it takes longer, can I send the updated SA302 later by post (i.e. when it arrives) as a supporting document to my application?

Any specific solicitor you can suggest who will be able to help with this type of visa application ('no win no fees', kind would be best)?

Thanks indeed again!

Send your amendment asap if your luck played then this can be possible in two months time, if not then possible suggestions would be

Send by post your application with an acknowledgement letter from hmrc that your returns are in process of amendment

If you planning to go for peo then again take this letter saying above..

Thank you very much indeed Blocked Username!

Does sending the acknowledgement of the amendment from HMRC satisfy the HO requirements and is there 100% chance of success?

Please reply soon! Thanks a lot.
