No you can't. They will provide assistance if it is needed but she will have to do the interview herself. You will likely not be allowed to sit with her either.

Makes no difference if you used check and send or not. The interview is a separate process.

You can try. They will tell you whether they can or will speak to you or not.

She will struggle in the interview if she is struggling just to book the appointment. They don't ask complicated questions when you phone to book the interview.

Have you tried putting the phone on speaker phone so you can hear what they are asking her and you can then direct her (silently) to the letter or what they are asking for? How did she pass her English language test (speaking and listening)?

post ID interview

Post by erdogan1 » Thu Dec 31, 2015 2:05 pm

Ok so my wife did her interview and she say it went well ....

At the end they said that they will complete their checks and passport will usually take a week but allow 10 days for new year and weekend.

does this mean everything is going well.

why they say they will complete checks ? I don't understand.
what happens now? do we just wait?

It usually arrives within 3 days or so after interview. She might get a text saying it is 'being printed'.

Unless she completely messed up her answers (yes, it does happen), all should be good.

Passport printed?

Post by erdogan1 » Sun Jan 03, 2016 2:16 pm

My Mrs received this email yesterday:

Dear Mrs Erdogan,

Thank you for your enquiry.

I can confirm that your passport was passed for printing on 31/12/2015 and delivery will be attempted within 4-5 working days.

Does this mean it's already been printed or not yet?

Depends if wife gave a current mobile number (often requested/confirmed during interview).

Anyway you just need to sit tight & wait for courier now.
