Email is not a guaranteed communication channel with guaranteed delivery.
The office in question could be facing one or more of:
technical issues;
staff shortages;
work overload;
Or there could have been:
a change of staff;
&/or change of email policy;
You yourself may also be facing one or more technical (or other) challenges such as;
mailbox overload;
email address blocked;
over-enthusiastic spam mail filter;
email address change;
email client change;
computer connection issues
