Germany Route, Return Flights?

I am arriving in Germany with my British wife at the end of March. I have a visa for family member of EU citizen. (family visa valid for 6 months and less).

do i need to book a return flight or can I fly one way to Munich?

we are traveling from South Africa.

There is also no legal requirement that you submit:

• proof that you will return at the end of the trip;
  airline tickets;
