Is maintenance required for Tier 2 extension ?

Hi there

Could you confirm if maintenance is required or not for Tier 2 extension please ? I went through page 41 in t2 policy guidance and its not helping much.

Is it also required for a dependant if they're applying at the same as a T2 migrant for an extension?

Hi, yes for a tier 2 extension , same job and same company.

(j) The applicant must have a minimum of 10 points under paragraphs 4 to 5 of Appendix C.

Thanks. So I guess the answer is its not required, based on the following

"10 points will only be awarded if:.. the applicant has entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain as:
(i) a Tier 2 Migrant"

Can you please also confim, if maintenance is required or not for a dependant who's applying at the same time as main applicant ?
