MN1 - Section 6 - Biometric enrolment

Post by zghtto » Wed Jan 06, 2016 10:26 am

Hi all,

I am looking for some help please.

I got my ILR in October 2015, I didn't apply for ILR for my daughter who had Tier 2 dependant visa which was expired in 2013.

I am applying for MN1 for her and I have some questions about: Section 6 - Biometric enrolment

What should I answer:

6.1 Have you been issued with a BRP with a previous application for leave?
Is it for me the parent or my daughter?

6.7 BRP enclosed?
Shall I include the BRP of my daughter even if it is expired?

6.12 Have you had your fingerprints taken as part of a previous UK immigration application
made in the UK or abroad?
I don't remember - when I took my daughter to the post office to do the BRP photo - if she had her finger prints taken or not. What shall I write here? She was 2 years old.

Thank you

MN1 is for your daughter, so all questions are about her.

Finger Print requirement is for 5 or 6 year plus kids.

You did not extend her visa (meant She is born in the UK?)

Yes you should include BRP.

If you are applying via NCS, they will return the BRP and Passport to you after photocopying.

Thank you, I am applying by post not through NCS.

Could you please tell me which documents to send?

Hi,

Please read MN1 guidance for required documents. My kids were not born in the UK, so not been to this route.

Thanks
