Country of Residence on COS??

Happy new year.

I am currently going to apply for an extension of my current Tier 2 visa in the UK and today got a COS from my new job. I started my first job in the UK on last 20th April 2015 and have been working here ever since (thats about 8 month). I am originally from Egypt.

I have 2 Questions regarding the new COS that has been assigned to me.

1. In the country of Residence under (personal details) my employer filled it as United Kingdom based on the fact that I currently work and live here for more than 8 month. Is that Ok ? or should it had been filled as Egypt (my nationality country)?? If it is wrong can it be amended in a Sponsor note.

2. Can the start date of the job be amended to a later date in the sponsor note before I use it for the COS application?
