Parents Visitor visa

Post by raomvj » Fri Jan 08, 2016 3:02 pm

Hi Members,

We are expecting a baby in July and I am planning to bring my parents to the UK to spend 3 months with us.

My father is a pensioner and has some fixed deposits, house on his name. He can submit his pension statements, Fixed deposit and documents related to house. Please let me know if any other documents he needs to submit.

My mother is a home maker and dependent on my father. What documents should she submit?

I am on ILR and applied my Naturalisation (Biometrics were also done) in November 2015. I am planning to apply my parent’s visitor visa in April hoping that I get my British Citizenship by that time. If I don’t get my BC by April and my Naturalisation is still under process will it impact my parents visitor visa?

I am planning to send following documents.
1. My payslips
2. Letter from employer confirming my job
3. My bank statements
4. Covering letter confirming that I will bear the expenses of my parents during their stay in the UK

Please let me know if any other documents I need to send.

Thanks for reading and responding my post.

Thanks
Rao

Fixed deposits won't be counted.

why are Fixed Deposit not considered?

There is interest earned on fixed deposits which could be like monthly salary.

Because fixed deposits are not liquid or immediately available funds.

Them's the rules.

The interest would be counted but not the capital as it not liquid.

Thanks CR001 & Wanderer.

Please can you have a look at my case below:-
http://www.immigrationboards.com/genera ... l#p1289009

I have got around Rs. 26,00,000 in FD's for my mother but interest from all of them are paid on monthly into account. Her monthly balance is on on average like Rs. 50,000 so should I dissolve couple of her FD's and bring the account balance high?

Hi all,

Can I submit joint account statement for my mother? My mother has a joint account with my father. I am planning to bring both my parents in June. My father is a pensioner and has accounts on his name but my mother does not have a separate account on her name. Can I submit joint account statement for my mother?

Thanks in advance for responding.

Thanks
Rao
