UK employers perception of NARIC equivalence

Post by fshaker » Sun Dec 02, 2007 9:13 am

Hi,

Many of us - HSMP applicants - have non-UK academic degrees (Bachelors, Master and/or PhD) but also have NARIC proof of equivalence of these degrees to UK degrees so as to score on HSMP.

On the job search front, has anyone had some experience with how UK employers generally perceive NARIC...

Is it only the Home Office that recognizes this certification of equivalence to UK degrees..?

I m not really sure if it's something worth mentioning when applying with recruiters/employers in UK...

It may probably be quite varied according to industry/employer... but anyone with experience or feedback about this please share with us...

Many thanks
