Date of application

Post by cfdman » Mon Jan 11, 2016 2:10 pm

Could someone shed some light on "Date of application", if I apply through NCS?
Is it the date I visit coucil NCS appointment?
or is it the date the Home office receives the application and documents sent by NCS team via post?

Is there any any piece of Home office document which clarifies this date?

Thanks in advance.

This has recently changed and is now the date that the application is submitted through the NCS. If submitted by post it will be the date received by the HO.
