ILR questions

My wife came to the UK in apr 2012, extended her visa for 3 years, valid till Apr 2016. She went for delivery in Jul 2014 and came back in may 2015, almost 11 months away. Will she qualify for ILR with me or need extension?

Should be fine to apply if you have evidence of subsisting marriage during her absence.

Yes, i have no. of letters for last 4 years as evidence, should I mention about absence in cover letter.
