Sponsorship License Processing time in new rules

My company has applied for sponsorship Tier 2 license 2 weeks ago but didn't receive any email or acknowledgement letter anything from HO. My concern is that, the acknowledgement letter is necessary in this application or not. Or it is normal and they just respond once they required anything. We haven't received anything which makes me worry that may be they didn't received our documents. I have sent all document to that address provided in the submission sheet. Could any on please help me out and share experience. How long it will takes to get a license ?
