urgent help required ( Spouse visa question)

Post by rizdan21 » Mon Jan 18, 2016 9:13 pm

I just need to ask a quick question but a very tricky one. i have to apply for my spouse settlement uk visa ,we married back on 14/4/2015 in Pakistan and 2 days later I returned back to uk though before getting married we were in a relationship and met quite few times. how does this meeting gap will impact in regard to getting her a settlement visa?

You will have to submit proof of a subsisting relationship (whatsapp chats, facebook, emails, skype logs, telephone itemised billing etc)

Should not as long as you have the evidence and meet all the requirements.

They may query why you left so soon after the wedding and (I assume) haven't spent any time together since then.

Yes but you will need to explain that in your wife's visa application. I suggest you include it in your sponsor's letter supporting her application.

It would help to strengthen your case for a subsisting relationship.
