TIER 1 (General) - UK Absence

Post by karthikravi » Mon Jan 18, 2016 10:14 pm

Hi,

I'm applying for ILR next month and was reading through the guidance notes on https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... sed-system

It specifies that for periods of absence from UK including travel for work and holidays, evidence must be provided in the form of a letter from employer detailing purpose and period of absences.

Guidelines are as below. Is this mandatory?

245CD-SD Specified documents
The specified documents referred to in paragraph 245CD(j) are:

(a) For periods where the applicant was in employment in the UK, a letter from the employer detailing the purpose and period of absences in connection with the employment, including periods of annual leave.
