submission of payslips are mandatory?

Hi,

My husband has tier 2 general visa by A-rated sponsor. I got general dependant visa. We both came to london in last march (2015).We both are working here.Now we are planning to bring our kid who is 3 years old. Since we haven't applied visa for him before, we are going to apply in coming march from Bangalore through VFS.we are maintaining 2500 pounds in my husband's account as he is main applicant. We do have bank statements where our salary gets credited every month.

Can anyone please clarify us,are payslips mandatory to apply visa for him?

or bank statements are enough to submit?

Payslip is not mandatory, 3 months bank statement is enough.
But If you want you can submit 3 months payslips.
