Is Employer letter required for 15 days of personal leave?

I am on Tier 1 General from 2011 Feb and applying for ILR now.

In the year 2011 I was in employment and was on a personal leave for 15 days and then onwards i am self-employed. For those 15 days taken in 2011, is the employer absence letter required?

No, in the entire year it was just 15 days and it was travel to India.

I think you should be ok without letter. but if its possible to get a letter than try and getting a letter from your employer just to be on safer side...

Hi Guys

I have the similar doubt , I have never exceeded the 180 days per year in last 5 years,I'm both self-employed and Employed full-time, have been in and out of UK few times. Do I need to get a letter from each and every employers to prove that I'm on an annual holiday? (since I have been using my annual holidays when I traveled)

One of my employer went bankrupt as well so obviously I cant get the letter, also but one of my friend went for a one day service with similar scenario and was never asked about justifying his travel outside of UK, and got the visa.

I would be grateful if seniors can enlighten me on this.

Hi,

I was in the same situation. My first company is no more. So my solicitor did not suggested me to get that letter. So it will be interesting to know what other people suggest....
