Error uploading OCI supporting docs

Hi Guys,

I am filling online OCI form, completed Part-A, Part-B, uploaded Photo and Signature (as per new rules). I have my application reference number generated (i can reprint the form too).

Main problem/issue is that OCI supporting documents are not getting uploaded (the page just goes blank). Size of each document is less than 500 KB. (Also created another new/fresh application form, which again stucks while uploading supporting docs)

Could you please advise as whom to contact for this? Any workaround. Have anyone got similar problems?

VFS reply to me didnot help. However i have just tried now and it is uploading now. I think the HCI back end services to accept image uploading were not working last night.

In short there systems were either down or being upgraded last night.

Does anyone know if we need to upload self attested docs or can they be uploaded without being self attested

just upload self attested docs as a safer option

I am trying to upload the signature. how did you manage to get the correct size ? Also photo I scanned and it pdf format. how can I convert it into jpg or jpeg format

i used the "gimp2" free software that does the size correction. You might lose pixels/resolution by Converting photo from pdf to jpeg. try jpeg scanning if possible.
