Document require for Tier 2 Gen Extension, Pls Help....

Hi Respected all Members,

i am seeking your concern regarding my topic. i am going to apply for tier 2 gen visa extension very soon. please help me to specify the document list.
also please let me know do i need to submit any pay slip? for how many months?
and do i need to show maintanance fund?

please note as my wife with me as dependent, i believe i have to apply for her visa extension as well, so please let me know what we need to submit for?

all supports and help will greatly apriciable.

Hi,

only three mandatory documents required.

1) Passport
2) Old Biometric Residence card
3) Passport size Photo.


Note
You don't need funds maintenance and English language test for tier 2 extension.

No extra documents required as it is extension. Photo, Passport and BRP (same for your dependant as well)

was just wondering if RLMT needs to be done again for Tier2 extension?..and do we need not to take COS with us?

NO need of RLMT while extending your Tier 2 visa with same employer and same SOC.

Not required as COS number is normally mentioned in the application form unless you didnt enter one

If SOC changes with the same employer, then RLMT might need to be done if SOC does not come under shortage occupation list or salary is less than £155,300

Dear all members,
thanks for your kind advice. last night i was read through the guide line. in some point i stuck regarding visa length. let me explain my situation i was in UK in August 2009 with student visa, after completing graduation i have been offere a job with tier 2 general in 2013. till this tier 2 visa my total time is 7 years.
now the point is if i want to go ILR i need 10 years, that mean still i need another 3 years. so if i go for tier 2 extension can i get extension for upto 3 years or less then that. if less then i will be in trouble.

or instead of extension shall i apply for new sponsor tier 2 visa.

please advice to which way i can get another 3 years visa permission. please help. as i always follow this forum to get help in visa requirement. please help.

You can apply for 3 yrs if ur previous tier 2 visa is not more than 3 yrs.
Totally u can be upto 6 yr on tier 2.
U can also apply for ILR on tier 2 route after 5 yrs on tier 2 but depends on ur salary.

Thanks for your kind reply. would you please advice regarding salary on extension time. with the sallary £21000 i got the visa, in 2013 SOC list my Occupation Salary was New entrant: £20800 & Experienced: £25800. the new version 2014 is saying New entrant:£20,500 / Experienced: £26,100.
The important question is which salary is appropriate for extension Current Sallary or Experienced Salary??????

If new version is saying 26100 for experience then it should be 26100 as u will be consider as experienced
