Dear all, I am on Tier 2 G for past 4.5yrs but am now at the risk of redundancy (second time in last 3 months). If I lose my job can I apply for jobs which are in shortage occupation list? Can the new employer recruit me even though my previous job was different? Would this be a problem with Home Office?
I am IT systems admin (SOC 3131) at the moment and thinking about applying for Software Engineer (SOC 2136) as it is on Shortage occupation list. You may ask why, bcoz no one is willing to go through RLMT for IT job.
