Tier 2 Dependant Online Application Help

Post by mhraja » Tue Jun 16, 2015 12:24 am

Hi, I am making an application for my wife who is currently outside of UK.

Using the option of 'Apply For Someone Else', I need to confirm the Visa Type. If I am selecting it correct.

Reason for Visit: Work
Visa Type: Tier 2 (General) visa
Visa Sub Type: General Partner, upto 3 year

If not, can you please advise which Visa Type to select.

Thanks,
mhraja

Yes, you are selected the correct option.

You can select "Apply For Myself" too.
"Apply For Someone Else" is if you are hiring a solicitor and he/she is doing on your behalf.. Expert can confirm on the same.
Hope that helps. Cheers.

Hi. I am making the same application on behalf of my wife. I would be travelling back to my home country and we would be travelling back to the UK together.
Is it necessary to mention on the application that she would travelling with me?
I recall someone telling me not to mention this.
Thanks

No, she is an adult and can travel on her own. For children it would need to be mentioned.
